Agreed. A landing page merely asking for email addresses without even a screenshot/video/anything is not "showing" anything.
Correct. It is a landing page test. I won't deny that, but I'm also not going to build a product before I know whether it's something people want.

It appears to be much more lightweight. Seems like a valid market to me.

I don't see anything different in the value proposition, what is your difference to the other sites?
