Yeah I think I will find it incredibly useful. Coordinating large groups of friends to meet up is a hassle and I think those alerts will be very helpful. "Oh man, Matt grabbed an Uber. I'll call mine now.", etc.

Of course, we'll see in practice how useful the alerts turn out to be.
