Spanish high speed lines are mostly separate from the legacy network as they have different gauges, there are a few parts of the railway with dual gauge tracks but it is that.
The Santiago accident was on the conventional rail.
Not really, I work at a big and older company and they will even have stickers around the office(we only need to go to the office 4 or 5 times per year, but can go whenever we please) to put in the laptops.
Spain has similar population, area and climate to California, and even though it has less GDP it has built some good high speed trains infrastructure. I can see your point if the alternative is travelling by car, but if you're going to take planes the train can be a viable option. There are plenty of big urban centres in California that can support public transit.
But YouTube uses some weird translations, this behaviour is not fully consistent and also YouTube knows that I don't watch videos of those channels with subtitles.
You can easily play a very big chunk of the good/great games from the past 40 years and plenty of new good and great games get released every year so you are probably being unlucky or do not know how to find the games that will appeal to your taste.
I mostly used those during the height of the pandemic, with the restrictions on how many people could be inside an store and even how worried I was of getting sick with a small child at home and very far from my family. But now, I have lot's of options very close to home and very few worries (Although I mask myself when inside the store)
In Spain we have this Bizum thing that allow us to use phone numbers to send money between bank accounts. I Brazil we have Pix which is similar but allows great flexibility on how to identify one person(phone, email, random key)
I mostly worked on smaller studios and for the last 6 years of that career I was working in my own company, I only had WLB problems in my first 2 years, but I never worked in AAA
I think it's a bit hard for things like games or even movies to be owned by a person given how many people have to work on those. Having a shorter time limit from publication would be easier and better for the public.
I worked with games development most of my life and then went to web development in this change, for some reason I ended up in position a bit more senior than what I was prepared for in this domain. I thought the job would be fine, specially being my second successful interview with the company, I thought their processes meant that I was good enough for the job they offered me.
I YOLO’d FAANG interviews twice (The interviews were in cities I wanted to visit, so why not)passed both times and even accepted the offer the second time. In the end I wasn't a very good fit for the company.
I sometimes like to read the paragraphs to know why some things are done and possible substitutions, specially if I'm not going to make the recipe immediately. But when I want to make it, I really would love to have it separated from the text.
