It would be if one man did all those things. In reality, tens of thousands of men and women participated in the creation and running of those companies. Musk did at best a fraction of a percent of the work.

Thank you. Finally someone acknowledge it's the people around musk and not musk himself doing the whole work. I really don't understand when people start to talk about musk, how bad he is and what a jerk he is. But in the end, there are qualified people who can argue on some points and also do some decisions - even if it's only the showing of alternative possibilities for musk to decide. People don't like musk, so they don't like his companies. But the companies aren't musk alone. You and I see the differences :)

Gifts? I doubt Musk runs those companies out of the goodness of his heart. He's in it for the money and SpaceX, Tesla, and Starlink are products. They're not gifts.
