I like the idea and simplicity. But it's going to be hard to compete with Apollo for Reddit.
But it has been purposefully broken on mobile browsers to force users in to downloading an app, registering, and close many popups.

This is a small extension for iOS I made to (a) force Reddit to always switch to the old layout on mobile, (b) apply a few visual styling changes to make the site fit a portrait device/make better use of available screen space, (c) make Reddit actually usable on iPhone again without an app/account/popups/other shite.
