I'm probably the person ya'll are hating on.
Writing code and writing code under pressure while you have a full blown anxiety attack are not the same thing. I'm lucky if I can accurately tell you what I had for breakfast once that triggers..
You’d be surprised how hard this actually is. I spent 3 days iterating on a marketing site, where I had very explicit / “well written” copy, and it would just repeatedly rewrite it back to the most awful slop. Over and over again! Ended up adding various AGENTS rules telling it to leave the copy alone
This used to be really effective and cheap, now it lights my quota on fire, even after I fix the config and restore smaller subagents instead of like-agents
Multiple (slow) conversations seems to be the efficient path for me the past week or so
for subagents to be cheap/effective, you have to specify the size of those subagents; i.e. right now by default 5.6-sol spawns many 5.6-sol subagents. 5.4-mini as subagent saves me tons of tokens. 5.6-sol audits the work before accepting it, so there's not really a quality issue.
so on Lost when Jack is really upset about Charlie, and he beats the shit out of his lifeless body, ... and it worked, did he do real or fake CPR? These comments make it sound very real.
