This is economic war. China now is taking over the car economy from Japan, Europe and USA. And I believe they have ambitious on semiconductor as well. The world has demand on high end chips also require cheap chips which does the job.
I am not fully persuaded there is shortage. People could not get what they want is more about price not availability. That because manufacturers made too many things customers don’t need. Base on Q4 IC companies report, most of product driven companies, like Intel and AMD sales less than last year. However OEM like TMSC actually produces more and had more revenue.
There were multiple protests happened last week to memory people burnt to death because the inappropriate lock down of building. People release anger against the inhuman lock down policy. The definitely need hide as much evidence as possible.
It is very natural as world manufacture and have a government doesn't care that much about unemployment rate. Most importantly, they have the money and they are the customers. Instead of buying products, just buying tools to make these products.
JetBrains is great. I fully subscribed with them for years until I switch to vscode. I found myself less dependent on the intelligence features these days. And I use 10+ languages daily and 20+ different languages monthly. Really looking for one for all.
To be honest, I don't agree this. Manage an infrastructure need evidence and trace how this get created. I've been in the situation a few times. Have been threw projects terraform code doesn't match aws infrastructure. We don't know when an how the drift happen. At least, cloudformation can have some feature to detect the difference and help me trace back which commit actually has been deployed. CDK make the job easier for developers because it deliver some convenience and offer more pattern to write code. I like both.
I don't think all of them are scrum's fault. Basically, this sounds like a failed scrum. There is succeeded scrum sample as well. Scrum is never easy. Just like developers get certified, scrum master certification is just a paper. Need years and years of experience to get it right.
A useful accessibility is not cheap. Every project has its budget. Most of website still can be read out by text-to-voice software which should be good enough for information delivery. There is definitely something can be improved later.
When a company grow bigger, it was have this issue? This is a management problem. The bigger they grown, the more cost for management. Really prefer the Google structure that you have alphabet to manage each product individually. However, Google is too big to be split now. The brand is more valuable compared to the parent company.
Looks like Amazon try to do the same thing as Huawei does. 10% refreshment of Human resources particular on 40+ employees. 30% looks is really crazy, it is hard on development team, which will dramatically affect the code quality.
In the CPS document it said this is SHA256 fingerprint. So I run the following command and the value doesn't match. I have asked AWS support. They said it is out of scope. Mostly like the support team doesn't know either.
I think we you implemented a solution you never know which way is cheaper until you see the bill. Then it really becomes the chicken and egg question. Will you decide to go serverless is whether your solution will be very complicated one day. If the solution is simple already then you won't get too much benefit from serverless.
