I've noticed that few people whistle anymore, and if I happen to be lightly whistling while walking around the grocery store, people give me the side eye like I just walked off an alien ship. Keep whistling and spread that cheer!
Hi, cool project. A little feedback, as I only spent a few seconds there. The search results need to populate considerably faster. The weird delay, animation, and layout shifting makes it all feel cheap.
The first results were good for the search I did. However, I went back and searched for something else entirely, and I got results similar to the first search. That seems bad, since they were unrelated searches.
Now I can't search anything because it's timing out.
This is why so many SWE on the internet are saying things like "I've applied to 300 jobs in the last two weeks and have gotten no interviews". Because it's shotgun blasting applications instead of catering and customizing to the job and company.
Nice. I often use Fontello [1] to snag only the fonts I need for a particular project. They have several libraries there, and you can select what you need from any/all and download the compiled CSS and font files.
This will benefit Google in some ways for sure. In the corporate and enterprise environment, where updates - even critical security patches - must be thoroughly tested before deployment, this will put a burden on the IT staff to expedite this process. I'm betting some will tire of this and move to Google cloud services where they have to think far less about this kind of stuff.
