My girlfriend bought some Chinese WiFi plugs from Amazon to use with Alexa. I wonder how many of these devices are doing this from time to time. Amazon has tons of generic devices that connect to your WiFi network
Maybe it's a quality control issue?.I ordered a fully spec'd macbook pro and it had a small dent in the frame of the screen. It's really small but still piss me off that I paid 4k+ for a device that was not pristine when I opened the package
I don't think you will get a lot of "yes" answers?
I have seen that a lot of devs simply see code that was not written by them as wrong. So they tend to rewrite it to fit their mental model of what good is.
I keep saying this but we need a local web search engine.
How can we accomplish this?
I'm not sure if it's possible or feasible.
But i want the discussion to happen. Maybe someone will eventually find a clever way to solve this or maybe it's just a matter of time until our cpus/bandwith/storage is good enough for this to work
What about using a long ship and then using a high tech spring to apply the deceleration over the length of it. Relocate the passenger at the front and repeat until you reached the desired speed.
Just thinking out loud maybe that will be counterproductive in the amount of time needed
What about a smart shopping cart that close a lid when you pass the checkout area and then somehow figure out whats inside. After you cross the pay area it will open if you paid for everything
