Great feedback, thank you! I have not invested much energy in new player onboarding since I have been the least experienced player using it so far, but assisted play for the first game is a lot more elegant than the rules modal I pop right now.
Text selection and dragging bug is annoying, I'll fix that.
This looks great. The decisions feature, and the focus on good async, reminds me of Stride (Atlassian's failed chat product).
Chat is such a social product, even inside a company, as many here have addressed. That said, irc, hipchat, campfire, matrix, slack, zulio, lync, wave, and a hundred others have had their moments of success, and I could see this being on the more successful side.
Yes! I always thought that was a very clever project, and was sad when it ceased development. Very excited to try this out, and glad to have stayed on Debian all these years.
Seems to get it right on my first try. Interesting unreliability.
User: Sally (a girl) has 3 brothers. Each brother has 2 sisters. How many sisters does Sally have?
Claude:
To solve this, let's break it down step-by-step:
We know that Sally has 3 brothers.
Each of Sally's brothers has 2 sisters. This might make you think that there are 6 sisters in total (3 brothers × 2 sisters each). However, this is not the case.
The sisters that each brother has are the same - they are Sally and one other sister. The question is asking how many sisters Sally herself has, not the total number of sisters in the family.
Since Sally is a girl, she cannot be her own sister. Therefore, the number of sisters Sally has is equal to the number of sisters each of her brothers has minus herself.
So, if each brother has 2 sisters, and one of those sisters is Sally, then Sally must have 2 - 1 = 1 sister.
Therefore, Sally has 1 sister.
This is covered by the cross-platform scenario. It's not super elegant, although I'd say it's easier than typing 100+ random characters (and also trusting that the locked down device doesn't have any key logging?). Lots of providers have their own FAQ, but here's one: https://www.corbado.com/passkeys/faq#:~:text=Passkeys%20have....
This is great! I've been thinking about building something similar for sleep training with my toddler--need something that works in a dark room by feel and has variable intervals. Love it.
I'll make the obvious point that these interviews were not good predictors of success at the companies.
In general, I've found in 15 years of interviews that interviews are not highly correlated with the work at any given company. I wish we would move beyond cargo cult interview styles and base interviews (and screening, for that matter) on the actual work and culture of each company.
What's the electrical failure rate of every appliance in your home, and the associated risk of death by electrocution? If you don't know offhand, it might be that you are implicitly relying on UL standards to keep you safe and whole.
Consumers don't have perfect information, so the risk is asymmetric. If you assume the market will sort out risk and quality so we don't need standards and enforcement thereof, I don't believe your model is aligned with reality.
Feel free to cite studies supporting your claims (genuinely, not sarcasm, but making positive claims about factual matters can and should be supported by evidence).
