very interesting. I'd echo the comment by another user that the website needs to 'show' what the app UI is like.
The marketing aspect of the app would be key - the app store is crowded for convoy tracker apps - but hardly anyone is framing the "friends" angle. Good luck!

"Getting a fresh pair of eyes" is a great time-tested way to get ahead in solving a problem you and your team is stuck on.
What's underappreciated, is becoming those fresh pair of eyes yourselves from time to time, to help others with ideas they can readily use. It hones own skills too.

Coincidentally, I discovered TablePlus in Setapp today while searching for a macOS MySQL client. Has been a smooth experience in the first few hours, and a better looking interface that other clients that I have tried in the past.
As another comment mentions, support for Linux is a big plus - we need better GUIs in there.
