This looks great! If you're open to feedback, one thing I love is being able to edit the actual SVG properties right inside the app - the CSS, the path nodes, etc.
It's gotta be tough! When you've made that your entire personality, it's hard to drop it. You've made friends, and perhaps lost others, by being this person. To just admit "I was wrong" potentially means alienating all of their friends and family. I'd imagine it's why so many people are still so vehemently flat earthers.
I 100% disagree. I love threads in Slack. In fact, we actively encourage their use in our workplace. Not everyone in every channel needs to be involved in every discussion. If someone on my dev team says, "Hey, I'm having a problem with X", one person can respond in a thread and they can have a little discussion that doesn't ping everyone else all the time. However, other people have the option of contributing to the discussion if they wish. In addition, the thread can be found in a search at a later date if someone is having a similar problem.
I had a roommate like this. So I set up a blind taste test. I set up 10 tests with two glasses each, most of which had one of each type, but I think 3 had either both bottled or both tap. Regardless, it came out int he end, that he couldn't even tell them apart, let alone have a favorite. For some reason, even after the test, he continued to drink bottled water.
