Why are people even allowed to dress up ChatGPT... an autoregressive transformer... as a faith-based holistic doctor? Anybody could see this going wrong from a hundred miles away.
I remember when everyone involved with AaronSW's JSTOR downloading made nice and turned it into a fun time, until a certain two government officials decided that doesn't matter.
OpenAI could be considered a legal actor under the CFAA, notably: unauth'd acc. §1030(a)(2), fraud §1030(a)(4), (kind of a stretch but) damage §1030(a)(5), and conspiracy.
To me, this shows that extremely talented and qualified mathematicians (can) use frontier-level LLMs to automate their personal grind-y workloads that would otherwise (probably) take more time to accomplish with natural intelligence.
By itself, no consequence. But over time, provided we keep pumping out talented and qualified mathematicians and keep subsidizing costs, we could maybe hit a breakthrough... somewhere... that has real impact.
Hi tusksm! It's honeypot season! Really cool project, I've been working on a honeypot project of my own right now called `honeyprompt` (https://github.com/alectrocute/honeyprompt) that utilizes LLMs to craft responses and supports multiple protocols. Having a public sink presentation layer like honeypotlive.cc was one of my next todos.
I've done this too, just not under the official FDE title. I've never wanted to end it all so badly before. I felt like a tutor for a bunch of man-babies, who was stuck in a Groundhog Day-esque loop. Heavy breath of relief when the contract ended.
