You should see what metaAI (the Ai that sits inside all your private WhatsApp conversations) does. It has severe thought police installed but it types the offensive stuff first and then quickly edits when it reads what it wrote.
Is it not possible that there really was a John Alfred Tinniswood living in 1921 but the man who now claims to be him in 2024 is actually someone else who stole the original's identity when he died unrecorded?
There was a similar thing to tea a while back. I think I saw the project posted on here. Went to their github and found a typo in their Readme. Opened a pr with a correction and then they started sending me about a dollar in btc every month till they ran out of money and the project imploded.
I have 3 domains there for years and I haven't paid them once.
Some time ago they started requiring that I mark the domains active each month. I wrote a script that intercepts that email and logs into their site to reup the domains. Recently that script broke and I haven't bothered to fix it because logging in once a month is a nothing burger.
How far is Israel expected to deliver the food? Right to everyone's door?
A seige means the borders are closed.
The current situation, for at least 6 months now is that Israel is letting food trucks through the border, more and more every day.
A problem exists for that last mile inside Gaza where no one wants to distribute it because militants will straight up beat truck drivers with sticks to steal the trucks and the food.
You'd think the UN would step in and do something but so far they mostly just sit on their hands bleating.
So to summarize: there are huge piles of food just inside the Gaza border that are not being distributed efficiently/at all.
I also want to point out that it's not in Israel's best interest for there to be food shortages inside Gaza. The first people who will be starved are the hostages, so Israel wants to flood the strip with so much food that some trickles down to her citizens held there against their will.
In Redwood City (easiest dmv test route I know of), they ask you if you want freeway on the test, you say no and they cross off that whole section. The parallel parking section is done on a completely empty block and the only way to screw that up is to park blocking someone's driveway.
As to why freeway is easier: maybe not as a very new driver, but as soon as you're comfortable handling a car you can get on the freeway and the mental processing loop is much easier. Just follow the car ahead at a safe distance for the speed. Very little else, can be done with just half a brain while you think about other things.
There was a private tank collection in Portola Valley. There was a way to arrange tours but it didn't have anything like regular hours. It was just a guy with lots of money spending it on buying and restoring tanks. Most of them could run under their own power. Stuff like a German Tiger parked facing an American Sherman and a Russian T34. 2 huge garage fulls of these things. And visitors were allowed to climb onto and into all the tanks. It's how I learned that British tanks are righthand drive.
Anyway, guy died, his heirs preferred money to tanks, and they all got sold off. At best they are on display somewhere on the east coast behind velvet rope where no one will touch or drive them again.
When I rode in one, admittedly a long time ago when cruise was still operating in sf too, the waymo car pulled over for a firetruck. However, the firetruck was merely crossing the road we were on and it was 3 streets away. And the waymo pulled into a bus stop to do this. The safety driver had to nudge it back into traffic.
