Yeah, if they put watermarks on generated images then everyone will just immediately stop using their product and switch to a competitor.
There's some interesting work using steganography to mark generated text (https://arxiv.org/abs/2301.10226), but I'm not sure if that's what they're talking about here.
Same problem we had this year (Power Up). We built two drive bases, and when we tried the Mecanum one against our 2017 robot, it just got pushed right out of the way. No friction.
Agreed. It’s awesome that you can write a game once with Unity and not only have it run on all platforms, but have it run with the native, optimized rendering framework.
Try VS Code. It works well out of the box, plugins are easy to install, it's faster than Atom, and very actively developed, with major feature releases coming out every few months.

I wish them the best! I really enjoy Swift, as it takes the best of concise, "dynamic" languages like Python and adds a static type system and a smart compiler that catches lots of errors. Really a much better choice than Ruby in a lot of ways. Now if only the machine learning community would take notes...
