Body counts as indicators of who is more evil is so absurd. What a useless argument.
How many people did the USSR lift out of poverty and extend the lifespan of?
Same with Mao and China. People who frame these as “omg but their body count” are so obviously disingenuous. Never see them mention body counts of the British empire or the American empire.
They forgot to list all the deaths from colonialism. And forced famines by people like Churchill. And the countless deaths from destabilizing countries in the global south, done by the US empire.
Weird how they never talk about all the people lifted up out of poverty by people like Mao and Stalin. Wonder why that is.
