I also have the arch live USB for the same reason. For me the issue was that /tmp was full and after and update that included the kernel I didn't read the logs of mkinitcpio that told me of the failure of the rebuild.
Exactly! A dirty cheap service, but I guess that the low price was what made them close...
As an update to the first post, now the website works again.
The real problem is that support and service notification on the internet are often really bad. The giants can afford to do whatever they want without drawbacks. The really small players on the other hand can disappear without notice. Just the other day one of our VPSs went down, the web panel was also down, we discovered on twitter, posted by another user that the hosting company was closing in 4 days. They haven't even send an email to the customers. The CEO had already removed the company from his linkedin profile!
If you have the money/family support... If you are young enough... If you are not a woman... Add any minority to the list as needed.
You can't always afford to turn down a job offer.
Check out MobaXterm ( https://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/ ), it's the best terminal for windows I ever tried. Have a really handy list for remote connections, an X server, sftp browser for connected servers, Linux Subsystem fro Windows support, and a lot of other useful features.
