This project came out of sheer frustration trying to think of new things to cook everyday during this lock down. Currently, the website covers primarily Indian meals but I will hopefully cover more cuisines in the future.

Honestly, wondering how the touch interface will work in this mission. Always thought it will be tough to make sure the touch works as opposed to physical switches and buttons.

What about stress on joints with such recovery method? My dad has had problems with his knee for a long time, he's done lot's of stuff to improve his situation. Whenever he tries lift, he feels great, but the stress affects him after some time. I know the solution you mentioned is what works best for you, but genuinely wondering if the stress acts negatively too.
Stupid question: how do they measure speed of the satellite? I mean, on the website they've mentioned the speed of one of their satellite as ~7.6 kmps. Is that the actual speed of the satellite or it's a measure of how much land the the satellite covers per second?

3 years ago I learned that large insurance companies in India still use COBOL. That fact blew my mind. This fact (Estimates as high as 80% of financial transactions use... COBOL) further blows my mind as I thought only Indian financial institutions are rigid. Clearly not.
Quick Question: Will Google be using this project, once built out, to test all its future "Home" products? Clearly it will have the leverage to do so and will greatly benefit the company over the long term. If so, great strategic thinking.
Indian lenders have been doing this for a long time. They deny loans to borrowers from certain pincodes, provide loans with lower limits or higher interest rates etc.

Also, I do believe this is a plus for open source projects that often find it tough to stay afloat because of financial constraints.
It’s surprising that there has been no legal proceeding initiated against Boeing for this. They traded the lives of hundreds of people in exchange for an important safety feature.
Honestly, I don't understand the implications this has on their investing activities or the mechanism of this structure. I also don't fully understand the regulations around VC Funds and RIA's in USA (I'm from India).
From what I understand though, a16z is trying to breakaway from investing in the limited scope of securities (e.g. equities) of private companies. They want to offer a suite of wealth management services to their Investors in addition to VC investing.
But then, will the Investors pool capital in the Fund and the Fund be advised by the RIA? Or will the RIA directly advise the Investors? The structure isn't too clear to me. Apologies for the ignorance.
