That’s talking about herd immunity from vaccines. OP is talking about herd immunity from natural infection. So your links don’t invalidate the point, considering Israel research just proved that natural immunity is 13x more effective against Delta than Pfizer mRNA
I’m sorry and you’re right, it’s not your fault. But that doesn’t disregard what the person you were replying to was saying. The government has not encouraged taking vitamins or exercise. In Colorado they banned people from going hiking in national forests, state parks, etc. Which is ironic given that’s a great way to socially distance
If they aren’t universally against all vaccines, then why is the term “anti-vaxxer” applied in deragatory ways? I was under the impression it meant they were afraid of all
Portions of what you mentioned seem like reasonable concerns to the average layperson
I noticed this too! Thought it was a random advertisement that I happened to receive in perfect irony. The irony is even richer since it’s being shown to everyone
Ya, but I’ve seen those same responses 4+ years ago. I had to give up on using it for a project years ago as they didn’t support some things and closed the PRs
> Black Box Voting, Ballot Tampering in the 21st Century by Bev Harris
> Bloodlines of the Illuminati by Fritz Springmeier
These two were the most interesting on the list to me. Not sure why he cared about the first , but the second (and other titles about conspiracies) is really strange to me. Has anyone here read that book?
The most logical reason is that they want to connect the human identity to the wallet/address, thereby easily removing anonymity and ensuring the government can monitor their population effectively
OP said it happened In Florida but no name changes happened in Florida. My comment was meant to clarify, not argue in bad faith. I said “very” different not “completely different”. Nor did I argue that either should be ignored.
> Censorship isn’t what make social media and blogging so toxic to our culture. It’s the lack of reputational cost to bad actors and the undeterred gathering of information.
This isn’t an either-or binary thing, both can contribute to a toxic platform and mistrust. Censorship and cancel culture and bad actors and venomous users all contribute a part
In the Florida case it was/is a common surname, not a full name. In this Russian case, two humans changed their full name to match. Presumably paid to do so. Very different situations
Edit: in the Russian case, they also changed their appearance to match
According to a sibling comment, this strategy goes back to JohnF Kennedy at least. Except that the Russians take it to the next level
