The same applied to humans before it did to non-human animals. We are prescribing our worldview of "safe" predictable lives to them, just as was done to us.
Why do they have a young population? What happens to the old people who live in those countries? Why would that not happen in the receiving countries if enough people are imported?

You might have heard this: it's helpful to strive to be someone only a few years ahead of you. Similar to this, we give calculators to high-schoolers and not 3rd graders. Wolfram-Alpha is similarly at too high a level for most undergraduate students.
Following this, giving an image generator to kids will kill their creativity in the same way that a tall tree blocks upcoming sprouts from the sun. It will lead to less engagement, to dependence, to consumerism.

We are accelerating by preferring short-term gains. Like a fire becoming an explosion, that's modern society. Corps now throw the future under the bus for a slight boost in short-term value.

The mechanism is most likely that wild-type dengue has optimized itself a bit to infect better when covered with vaccinal antibodies (antibody-dependent enhancement)

Seems the incentives are such that you would want to make a virus PCR test using a narrow range of epitopes that you were targeting with the vaccine. That way, if/when you get breakthrough infections you can just say "well I don't see any virus!"

you can certainly fix an engineering design in-situ, just look at all the airplanes/jets designed pre-CAD software that were made "just-so" with all the know how embedded in the brains of those that made them/fixed them
