Yea this is just pure bs.
If you had taken to search for the name, you'd have found the wiki explaining the name's origin. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raghavan
Also,Raghavan is most probably his father's name and Prabhakar will be his given name.
I am experiencing an issue where if you click a word to get translation, a new Google search with 'translate "war" to english' opens. The problem is that it doesn't try to translate from German. Instead it translates the English word 'war' to Latin for some reason. I think a better search keyword is 'translate "war" from german to english'
This is really cool.
I usually end up doing some weird math during development and I usually use the browser developer tools which is a bit cumbersome.
This might help me replace it.
I had used PopOs with an Nvidia card before. And it worked out of the box. I did have issues with some of the driver updates and had to roll back the driver multiple times
I have used a Lenovo laptop with PoP OS, which had a dedicated NVIDIA card. I don't game too heavy, just some small platformers and occassionally CSGO. And with a 512 GB SSD, I might also need to expand the storage if I plan to game more I guess
It looks like I don't have an option to bump the RAM up and there's only the 8GB variant for the model you mentioned. I hope there won't be any drastic performance difference between i5 and Ryzen 5 4600H
I don't completely agree with your opinion. It's true that emails that are crowded with styled elements are not ideal. But I feel that there is a sweet spot where you have nicely formatted and designed emails that look and communicate pretty well.
But you do fail to mention that the true democracy passed the bill without proper discussion and also with a voice vote even when the opposition asked for a division vote. Then there is the thing that even when the said governement is willing to discuss, they are not really ready to compromise.
This is just the tip of the iceberg and I don't want to go on to a full length rant here on HN on a political post. But I believe that the media should always be against the government first. And not like Indian media which are dubbed as Godi media because it is so biased for the government, even reporting fake news at times.
No, the media should not be pro government. Yes, the media should be against the government first and should criticize and be sceptical on whatever the government is doing. And if after checking the facts, the government seems to be doing good, it's okay to compliment. But media should never be pro government.
I am one of those. I really want to degoogle but everything from my phone to my work depends on Google. The one thing I have done is stopped using Chrome on my laptop. But even then I have to use it occassionally because some websites won't behave properly in Firefox.
You really don't have to control though. Information itself is enough in the most part. As you said, Google already knows, but it has it's own procedure in fulfilling government requests. With the information directly in the hands of the government, that barrier is gone.
What is their aim by having an alternate app store? Maybe make the manufacturers install it by default as a system app with all the permissions enabled by default? It'd be pretty easy to have a control over what people are seeing or using if so. It's just guess work but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the idea.
I believe that the warnings you get when trying to install an APK downloaded using the browser is necessary. Especially with older people, it is much like a firewall and will prevent them from installing malware or 'spammy' apps.
The thing is they may not. For all we know, they're hearing about pull requests the first time and just seeing the presenter showing how easy it is to do, by altering/adding a few words, and get a free t-shirt. I think the blame is all on the channel. The least he could've made a proper pull request by fixing an issue. That said, the blame should also go on DO since they could've made hacktoberfest opt-in. Instead they encourage PRs on any public repo.
This is completely off-topic but the strike-through on links had me confused for a good few minutes. I was not clicking on those because I thought the link were not valid today and hence it has strike-through.
