What is meant by chronological here? Do you mean you follow some people and your Home page just arranges all the posts by those you've followed chronologically? Because that is what Mastodon does. And while I personally prefer it to be this way, this won't work for the user who just wants to see the type of posts they like, not necessarily the people they like. The recent exodus of American and Brazilian people from X is thus divided into those who chose Mastodon and those who chose Bluesky, with the latter having a much larger number. Make of what you will.

Why not use FreeTube (https://github.com/FreeTubeApp/FreeTube) then if it is based on Electron anyway? Freetube also has support for watching videos directly alongwith downloading and can also route the video through Invidious servers if you prefer not giving your IP address to Youtube.
Isn't a phone number personal information as well? And what about countries where it is mandatory to register your SIM card? ProtonMail can't just reply to this part by saying "Just move to a different country bro". A phone number is personal information and should be treated as such.
The best way to prevent that is by disabling JavaScript. Generally, JavaScript is what enables such banners to popup and obstruct your vision with newsletter requests.
I don't quite like an operating system as minimal as this to be licensed under a non-copyleft license. Operating systems like Minix have already been exploited by Intel for their Management Engine, which some call a 'backdoor' in their machines. And Minix was licensed under the BSD License as well, so Intel could get away not releasing the source code for IME easily.
Oni looks nice, but is a non-free program with an EULA so I would rather not use it. However it also states that a release is relicensed under the MIT/X11 license after 12 months from its release.
There are some details from the Win7 UI that is still not in the CSS, for example the gloss which appears when the mouse pointer hovers over the window action buttons.
Next, the dropdown menu isn't like Win7, it follows your browser/operating system's theme. For example, on Firefox-based browsers running on GNU/Linux it follows your GTK theme, rather than the Win7 theme. On standard Chromium-based browsers, it shows it as dark blue rather than glassy light blue of Win7.
Next, the scrollbar doesn't show as the Win7 one on Firefox-based browsers, but does on Chromium ones for some reason.
Instead of instructing your browser to delete cookies after you leave, why not instruct your browser to not accept cookies from such sites in the first place? I currently have google.com and youtube.com to "Never allow cookies from this site" in my browser.
