Hi dosh, I don't think that HN is build or is inspired in Reddit code/design. Both of them are open source, but Reddit is build in Python and HN in Lisp.
Thanks for reply! I did not know that extension, it's great, but my idea is build a website, maybe later I will do an extension for explorers or an executable for Windows/Unix.
First of all thanks for reply, and I'm subscribed in a lot of RSS feeds to be updated in my favorite topics. Neddick sounds so good, I'm building something like that, by reading RSS and by building content about entries posted in them.
It's perfect, I love RSS too. My idea is create a simple app to manipulate feeds, so you can register with an email, and add your favorite websites. I'm going to think about focus on a niche or categories. Thanks for reply.
I like sports and photography, but as samweinberg said, I think image-based sites need others functionalities. I need to see more offers, to select the best one.
Thanks for your answer, yes I know Python is a great language, but Perl is faster and better than Python for a lot of people. I think Perl is too old... And I don't know if there is companies that use Perl for new proyects.
