I think if the last decade has taught us anything, its that decorum has zero to negative value in public communication. People pay attention to drama, and you need attention to be heard. When the penalty for rudeness is gone, just go for contention.
Imagine it came with dozens of downvotes on every social platform. Certainly all current events channels on YouTube avoid it religiously. I assume they have reason.
I don't think the right is terribly unified on this. A populist with a strong angle might be able to make enough of a movement to push some version of this through. I have trouble imagining this populist figure, but it might resemble a "cross of AI".
This article triggered Gell Mann Amnesia very quickly when it suggested playing cards may have evolved from Mah Jongg tiles. Mah Jongg was invented in the mid 1800s and spread during the Taiping Rebellion. Chinese society has Middle Ages origin gambling cards, but Mah Jongg tiles are very far removed from them.
And yet, I have an unfortunately clear mental picture of the human that did this. In itself, that is a very specific coding style. I don't imagine an LLM would do that. Chat would instead take a couple of the methods from the Symbian codebase and use them where they didn't exist. The God classes would merely be mined for more non-existent functions. The true if block would become a function. And the # lines would have comments on them. Useless comments, but there would be text following every last one of them. Totally different styles.
It's fairly simple in most situations. If it doesn't involve a computer, it's handwritten in class. If it does involve a computer, it's a temporarily offline computer. We have figured out solutions to these problems already.

What you need is a feedback system between your coarse measurements from a low precision system such as a ruler or goggles and the prints that you make. Does the tab you printed fit into the latch? What part fails to fit?
