It doesn't take very long to get to a point where you can benefit from adding weight to chin-ups/dips. Someone able to do just 1 chin-up at the start of lockdown could have made some very good progress now depending on how well they trained, their physical proportions, and athletic history. Also, some people simply benefit from exercise variety. I personally get sick of certain movements after months of doing them and need to switch them up purely for mental motivation.
Another issue with bodyweight training compared to free weights is training legs and hips effectively. Plenty people will be able to add resistance right away to something like a squat.
I personally think it's a huge upgrade from the butterfly keyboard. I've got a 16" I just upgraded to at home, and an older 15" I was issued at work.
The higher key travel and further spacing apart from each individual key means I can actually differentiate between keys by feel, unlike with the older butterfly keys that all kind of blend together. The travel makes a huge difference in feel as well, as they're much less clicky.
If you're ever near a store carrying the newer model and an older butterfly model I suggest you try it out yourself.
The lowest price specialty coffee I could find online is about $12 for a little over 10oz from a place called S&W.
So $25 is a very bad value in my opinion.
