I see. I have a lot of PC games that I feel control much better with a gamepad. It's a third person action game with analog character movement. In this case an analog stick is far superior than WASD movement/modifier keys.
Well, one way has incredibly durable skeletons who can kill you in two hits, and another way has the same enemies that you fought in the tutorial... It's not that obtuse.
- Demon Firesage isn't particularly weak to fire. And what does it matter? You don't need a fire weapon to kill him. You also don't need to parry Gwyn to beat him, so why does it need to be spelled out? Although there is often a message by the door that says Try Parrying.
The game isn't really about trying a bunch of stuff until you find the "right" way to beat an area. If you think your best bet is to go everywhere and pick up every item, then you don't have a very good understanding of the character building mechanics. Of course the game does not go out of its way to explain its mechanics, and whether that is genius or bad design is up to you I guess. There are plenty of other games that hand-hold and don't have the time investment requirement of Dark Souls. I feel like Dark Souls respects the player much more than those games, because you truly do have the freedom to make your own choices.
The easiest way for you to achieve PCI compliance is definitely by using a 3rd party gateway. Customers will have to leave your site but you can usually skin the gateway page to look like the original store. If credit card data is entered in a PCI compliant server, even in an iframe on your site, then you aren't responsible for making your server PCI compliant to accept credit cards.
This is amazing news; I feel like Apple's lifting of restrictions has something to do with modifying your phone's software now being legal in the US. It's probably only beneficial to them to have all of this content available through their App Store outlet if people can easily get it anyway.
Yeah - no real reason to be on Google for more than a few seconds at a time. Plus, facebook encourages you to keep your browser window open (persistent chat, live feed updates etc).
I like the interface. I agree that "The easiest way to share your entire content" is an awkward sentence. Also, I would suggest making the "Blog + Photostream + Videostream" bit more prominent on the homepage because it's probably the fastest way to explain what the site is, yet it's not the first thing I see on the welcome page by a long shot. Nitpicking here, but I also don't really like how the "red" in Sprred is red in the logo. The site is very clean but the logo could be better.
