Last year, I came to realize that most of the citation tools that existed were outdated and had interfaces optimized for ad views, not for usability. They went so far into this that they became almost impossible to use.
I set out to develop my own citation tool that would be reliable and optimized for usability, both by not being designed around ads and by taking advantage of the latest advances in web app technology.

While Kaleidoscope is Mac only, Diffchecker is cross-platform and still under active development. We just released Dark Mode and Spreadsheet diff is on the way (while Kaleidoscope has seemingly stopped development in late 2017).
It's still a great tool though that works for a lot of people.
Diffchecker is a simple online tool that will help users check the difference between two files. When I first launched the tool in 2011, it could only check the difference between two text files within a browser. Now, Diffchecker has become a powerful utility that can also compare images, PDF files, and directories. We’ve also recently released dark mode for desktop.

Hey guys! I wanted to develop a simple tool that would help web designers and developers quickly edit SVG files in code and convert them to whatever they want. Let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions on how to improve it!
That's how I develop. Since I use vim anyways, I just ssh into a linux dev server from my windows box and code right on the server with the only delay being latency. 99% of what I do can be done in the command line so I end up with few problems.
