I am surprised no one mentioned Carrot as a replacement! I have been using it for years. they don't have their own source of data, they are mostly a good UI, and you need to select a data source like Apple Weather or others.
maybe its about allowing you to create your own cloud, not using a third party vendor's software?
its not a computer you hook up to a cloud, it is its own cloud?
i only know about aws outpost tho, so I might be wrong
I have been using Notion for 3-4 years now. There is nothing better IMO. It is slow at times, it has a lot of its power hidden behind the "/", and it's not very helpful of you need advanced governance (like locking multiple pages easily).
But it is great in any other way, personally I am waiting for the API and table grouping features to make it really great, and I could stop using aitrable.
