I've been working in software companies for a few years and I could say that something like this "replace" application is pretty much useful:
- Node.js can be installed on Windows and sed/find are not available on this platform.
- Many of my coworkers don't understand sed/find syntax, and even if they could learn it, they don't have plenty of time.
Btw, it's terrible that a few guys make rude comments about a free and open source software. If you don't like, don't use it or if you think you can make it better, fork it or shut up.
I use it a lot in my 13" Air, I switched from PC+Ubuntu desktop to MacOS and having multiple desktops makes perfect sense to me since day one. But I've got a weird issue with multiple monitors and extended desktop, when I switch from a virtual desktop to another one, monitor shows a gray background and I can't place windows on it making multiple monitors plus virtual desktops totally useless.
I usually get notes about design decision for my side projects during the day even when I'm in my daily job. Yes, I know that's not cool but my daily job is pretty much boring.
Offtopic: Pretty amazed about your wellhub project. How is it doing? Any sales? Actually I'm working on something similar and would like to extrapolate your experience to my case.
