The whole thing is a Jedi mindtrick. NSA, TSA, Patriot Act, Guantanamo not closing, Afghanistan, Iraq ... all because of said Bedouins with slippers taking over planes (how believable)
You can use this tool to search for anyone's insights not just your own ... the tool deals only with public data that is available on twitter.
Also the cache part, is only temporary for saving on computation and power (being more green). But again, its public data so anyone can do a search on your account or anyone else's, that is not set to private.
it uses your oauth to do the twitter search. It only looks at public facing info, but due to the amount of traffic we are getting each user needs to use their twitter account to get tweets. I liked how the N900 has an XTerm right on it by default, quite awesome!
I would stick with android though, and something that can have froyo on it. I would go with the Legend or Desire, or Motorolla Droid if I wanted a keyboard.
