Good for these people. If Uber really had lidar+radar [1] and disabled Volvo safety features [2] (such as radar) there is no excuse for this. Uber should have clarified the video released may not be representative of the information they have.
He is also one of the biggest proponents of working only through online communication. He, as the sole contributor to Linux at that point with famed single line license, release linux to the open internet.
The entire philosophy is based on the idea of:
1. Being open to skepticism (this includes being technically evaluated on your work, which is possible through public submission of that work)
2. Allowing people to work on the things at which they excel.
If you don't subscribe to these ideas, it doesn't matter where you work, how you work or what you do. It will not be 'innovative'.

A not-so-bright outlook for actually holding Insys's CEO responsible. Why were charges not brought on middle level employees especially if the father-son relationship could be an easy access route to bribery.
EDIT: Even the court document does not list is full name, Rosenberg's son is simply referred to as Insys Rep A.R.
Same millisecond? Prove it... I would buy same 10ms. If two cameras with frame rates of about 8frames/sec were shooting at random, the probability that they are in the same millisecond is very low, like 1.5% or so. If they were in the same 10ms interval... more like 14.5%! Actually not that low, and the apparent difference in the waves might not actually be significant in 10ms (supposing the water was at it's maximum height 10ms^2*9.8m/s2=>less than a mm of movement!). Suppose that within a cm the photographs look the same, then this implies a time interval (at max water height) of 31ms. Over 31ms given the snapshot intervals there is about 38% chance of the photos being of the same 'moment'.
