I think your main problem here is that you're too worried about what other people think of you. Does it really matter that some guys don't think you're that manly? Why do you need their validation?
Or it means you should always get everything in writing no matter what side you're on. A simple statement regarding how the shares vest would have prevented this.
Technologies: iOS development in Obj-C/Swift; Web Development; Rails
I've worked for companies large and (really) small, building great experiences with Auto Layout and custom controls. I was also a frontend developer for many years, working on majorly trafficked sites like the www.paypal.com homepage.
It might help to cut costs by removing products that don't really have a future, but I don't see how this would help with the real problem: where are the new growth products that will define what Yahoo is going forward. They've acquired companies left and right and not seen anything from it.
I've lost over 15lb since April by being very strict about my diet. I wasn't overweight before, but I wanted to be around 6% body fat. I use Happy Scale (for iPhone) and weigh myself everyday and use that to really push myself to eat healthy for the day. It's been tough and I've had to work hard at it, but I have only a few more pounds to go until my goal.
There is an app called Keychain Access on the mac which allows you to copy a password to the clipboard. If they're using iCloud keychain and they can login to their iCloud account, you might be able to pull it off that way.
Rails 4 brought along Turbolinks which is a step in the framework direction. I really think those frameworks are overly complex anyway. I've never seen a site that used one and didn't suck to use (slow/buggy UI).
Actually, the advice in this article is dangerous. While technically, you will burn muscle if you exercise at a high level for an extended period, this is because you aren't getting enough calories to support your regimen. People are so afraid of calories nowadays, they don't realize that your body needs carbs in order to perform work. The answer isn't to eliminate cardio, which can boost your immune system and make you feel better overall (unlike what the article states). The answer is to change your diet to eliminate things like simple carbs and saturated fats. I'm under 10% body fat and I do both cardio and weight training and I feel better than I ever did in my 20s. Instead of simply taking my advice (or the idiot who wrote this article), read up on how your body's metabolism works and how the different sources of calories are used for energy and repair. And, damnit, don't be afraid of calories or cardio, focus on what you're eating.
There's not much info about what it is. It might be a cross promotion network like many of the other ones that exist. If a person is playing a word game, you can advertise your own word game in it (or something to that effect). But like you said, I'm not sure how many people love playing all word games all the time.

I've worked at both small and large (e.g. Yahoo) companies; now doing freelance work. If you need someone who can build modern and unique interfaces for the web, I'm your guy.
