Swagsy is a socially driven marketplace where celebrities share the products they love: http://investors.swagsy.com
This isn't another "I have an idea can you build it for me" Craigslist ad. Our product is built and in private beta. We are launching with some of the biggest celebrities in the world. And we have a pipeline of brands that are ready to ship.
We have A-list advisors, have raised Angel and will close Series A soon.
We are looking for a talented Senior Magento Developer for Swagsy.
The ideal candidate loves Magento like it was their first born, is brilliant, fearless, and passionate.
Expect talented, motivated, intense, and interesting teammates. Your compensation will include meaningful equity ownership.
Life is short. Build stuff that matters.
Email mlulic at swagsy. Interns and H1Bs and TNs welcome.
We are an angel funded startup looking for hard working porn star to join our production.
You should have tremenous coding stamina which results in voluminous output. You should be able to go all night for hours on end and not get bored.
You will get very little direction, so it is expected that you know what you're doing - like it's instinctual for you.
We are a small team so you should be prepared to wear a variety of hats such as server repair man, pool cleaner and pizza delivery guy.
You should be good with people. We often begin the day programming by ourselves, but sometimes end up pair programming (or even small groups!) by the end of the day.
We are proponents of testing. If your code fails a test you will be prohibited from doing any new programming (especially with others) until the bug is cleared up.
We are a company of finishers. If we start a project we keep at it until it's done!
We expect a ton of users when we release. This thing is going to explode - we'll be all over HackerNews!

I've been pouring in the 16 hour days for a year now and executing well, but neglecting any sort of balance in my life. All the added stress has made me neglect my family and definitely eliminated any personal time.
I decided to do something about it in June.
Exercise has made a big impact. I started running almost every morning and logging 20M+ weekend mountain bike rides. I've realized that you need to keep your cardio strong and your physique honed or the lifestyle will simply make you pudgy and listless. Great Founders know how to eat right, work out right, and feel right. This is like running a marathon, so you must live your life like a marathon runner. I've also heard that its good to do some sport where you can hit something. Tennis, boxing, hockey, or martial arts, let you hit something hard and get the negative energy out.
I used to stay up working until 3 or 4am quite regularly but now walk away from my computer by 1AM so that I can get at least 6 hours of sleep. I think sleep deprivation is a reality for most startup entrepreneurs.
If you really want to mess your life up, forget to put your family in the balance. This is your most important asset and precious responsibility. Make sure you focus here and not only give them dedicated time, but meaningful time. I reinstated date night with my wife and I'm trying to make an effort to balance things out in general.
Yes, we worked on it for about a year bootstrapping. We ended up putting in about $50k between the three cofounders somewhere during that period of time.
Just set up our blog for Swagsy in preparation for our beta release. We've run some tests with a few celebrities while working on our MVP. I plan to share some of the insights around celebrity social media that came out of that.
Would be great to hear your opinions about the blog, the content, or anything related to celebrity social commerce in general.
Google is NOT a pioneer in wearable computing and have really been getting more than their share of praise. This is a space that has been developing for quite some time. Steve Mann, a professor at University of Toronto, is probably the best known researcher that has been developing similar mediated reality technology since the 90s.
Google is just looking to commercialize the space and make sure it's their services that are driving the experience.
We have IOs with about 10 brands/retailers and about 50 in the pipeline. That side is growing fast as it's a pretty easy sell.
The celebrity relationships are being handled by my partner Jamie, who is Paris Hilton's manager. While she doesn't get as much street cred as Ashton, she's actually a veteran in digital. She has 7 million Twitter followers, an iPhone app, her own SMS short code, they even implemented their own version of Twitpic http://twitter.parishilton.com/how-adorable-are-these-little....
I can't publicly get into the details of who we are launching with, but I can say we do have some strong relationships in this space.
Well, it's really just the font on the header that is the same on the homepage. But again, had Francis' blessing and he just raised money from Thiel... so go with what works right?
