There's actually an album called Ubuntu. Quite possible some duncehead set up a bot to download all torrents with Ubuntu in the name and scrape the IPs.

That's not really an Internet issue, and more the idea that moderation of hateful content is "censorship". It would be the same in public if people couldn't be kicked off premises going on disruptive hateful rants.
The website should have a very accessible cancel option. Especially considering calling tends to entail reps trying to push you to keep the account, and not everyone is comfortable having to give a reason for cancellation.
