As far as In understand it (not very much) you can listen in on the transmitted keys, but the interaction can be statistically(!) measured and suspicious bits can me omitted (the wiki is quite comprehensible: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_key_distribution?wprov...).
There are different protocols, some more and some less quantum and most rely on classical, encrypted channels and trusted nodes in addition to the quantum channels.
One thing is for sure: you can’t send information faster than light with this or any other kind of quantum communication as two entangled qubits are basically two RNGs that are correlated. You’d just get noise without an additional classical, not FTL, data link (please, somebody with expertise: help!)
As already said: Vorführeffekt is neutral and could mean both: success and failure. But the opposite of „a performance with an opposite than expected outcome“ is something that comes out exactly as it’s supposed to be without intervention, right? ;)
I think you would make great strides in thinking about this if you differentiated between feelings and emotions, one being pretty primitive, bodily inner states and the other outward directed, complex scripts that’s are deeply social, learned and performed and shared ways to communicate feelings (take all the different ways for example “anger”, “mourning” or “lust” are performed with totally different modes of articulation and performance between cultures, times and locations. That is: mourning is not a feeling, it’s a complex, socially learned (socialized) script that is performed in a socially expected way, that is rooted in feelings but solved a communicative, social task.
(I know nothing about this topic expect for one book about the socialization of emotions that I read a million years ago).
Also for me tracker music has an incredible and unique emotional power. My guess is that it was mostly written by teenagers and you can just feel that energy and naivety. Elwood tracks make me happy and happy-sad in a way nothing else can. It’s incredibly comforting and at the same time energising music for me.
For iOS users I cannot recommend enough the 4champ mod player with radio and total archive access. (But of course you’ll just download everything by Elwood and listen to that for the rest of your lives.)

„ Results for each of 67 sudden unexpected deaths classified by the coroner (aged 1 week-104 weeks) = Cases, were compared to 10 date of birth - and gender-matched surviving controls (Controls), with five cases reclassified to meet criteria for SIDS, including the criterion of age 3 weeks to 1 year.“
How is it possible that no one here mentions Korg‘s wundermachine Volca FM, a tiny DX7 compatible, Dexed/KQ Dixie controllable and cheap midi synth with endless possibilities?
Trackers might seem nostalgic, or as a quirky alternative. But they are also a forgotten was of dealing with musical pieces as a whole: everything a Musical piece is including notation, sound, performance and editability of all the parts and their whole.
I used "Blue" to criticise myself for not severing all ties to Facebook (I still use Instagram and WhatsApp) but just from Facebook, the social network (=blue). But I want to firmly distance myself from any SV circles! ;)
I didn't elaborate on this. But this is what I meant when I pointed out my possible privilege. I don't want to condemn people who use it; and it might indeed be a very good communication tool for many people. I know how WhatsApp has changed my elder relatives' way of communicating and I can't imagine that anything else but Facebook's power to create size effects did this...
But I'm very sure that it doesn't need Facebook to do this right. It could be anything else.
I'm not sure if what a single person experiences fits a societal impact, and I don't know if it is privileged thinking. But when I quit Facebook (FB Blue) it was almost ridiculous how easy it was and how little of an actually recognisable impact it had on my life (but that might be the privilege speaking). From the psychological routines to the social norms: I basically forgot that it existed within a couple of days.
I imagine this to be a more universal thing: It is impossible to imagine a live without Facebook. But it has been basically impossible to imagine a live with Facebook before there was any and just as quickly you will forget how inevitable and necessary it felt while it was there – once it loses its role. And I hope that this applies not only to individuals but also to societies.
I guess we will find out in the near future to just how many things this principle applies, for example petrol fuels, casual international flights and video platforms. Quitting Facebook Blue has shown me that to unlearn something is just as easy as it is to learn it. This is not nicotine or alcohol. This is just a mode of doing something you do anyways.
With BTT and GoldenChaos you can swipe anywhere on the Touchbar with two fingers to change the volume, and with three fingers to change the brightness of the display.
