Sometimes it feels like YC is the factory where OpenAI sources its ideas. Most features OpenAI launches seem to echo something a YC company built first. Inspiration, influence, or something deeper? After all, doesn’t YC have a stake in OpenAI?
3+k stars is amazing. How long it took you to achieve this?
From my side. I have raise a small amount of money however wanted to see if what other people think about open sourcing and made their decision to do it
Thanks a lot for sharing your feedback and experiences.
Just a follow-up question from what you see and your experience. How do you recommend integrating these best practices with modern accounting software to enhance efficiency? Additionally, do you have any advice on how to approach negotiations/disputes with large organizations or government agencies that are slow to pay?
I've noticed a trend from my conversation with businesses that they still handle their receivables in a somewhat fragmented manner, often relying on disparate systems ie: CRM, email, calls which can lead to communication breakdowns and inefficiencies, especially when dealing with larger companies that may have slow payment processes. when disputes happen, or legal/court or involving debt collectors majority of these things happening already outside AR platform.
The problem with existing AR is that
- only offer basic functionality ie dun: Standard messaging in x days
- no collection strategy in place base from the payment pattern
- when it requires to involved legal/debt they need to move out from the platform
- this is similar financing, dispute resolution, contract referencing
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I agree, knowing when to start enforcing payment policies is key to keeping cash flowing. How do you decide the right time to take action? Do you use any tools to help track overdue invoices and handle them efficiently?
I've looked into over 300 AR platforms on tracxn.com, especially the top 20. It seems like while they handle some parts of the accounts receivable process, like collecting payments and preventing delinquencies, they don't fully cover everything—especially when it comes to needing legal action or debt collection. It feels like there’s still a gap there.
Also, I'm curious what everyone else thinks about using tech for this. Do you guys build your own tools, or do you use third-party services to manage your accounts receivable?
We have develop a unified single API integration, that allows you to programmatically access multiple remittance providers, global settlement and without having to do an additional integration.
We have a hunch that we have product-market fit and heading in the right direction but we still want to have measurable metrics that we can optimize and at the same time questions that we want to find an answer that always comes up in any conversation, is if the market needs another money transfer app. Following Superhuman’s product-market fit. We looked how we stand against the magic number of 40% . A[Denarii’s Product-Market Fit Analysis using Superhuman’s PMF framework](https://denarii.cash/blog/denariis-product-market-fit-analys...) asking your users directly “How would you feel if we no longer provide our services?” and then quantify the responses that opted for ‘very disappointed’ and ‘somewhat disappointed’. According to Ellis, 40 is the magic number. If your percentage of users who will be very disappointed is more than 40%, then you are going in the right direction.
