So fwiw I take Solaris every two weeks to treat Myasthenia Gravis and it probably saved my life. It’s an auto immune disease that causes voluntary muscles to quickly tire, and you would be surprised what actually qualifies at voluntary, eg your diaphragm…. So yea, these drugs may be unaffordable and that needs to change , but they do save lives.
I am a Google apps reseller and have a few customers. My customers get the accounts for a small discount then what they would direct and I make a small margin. Right now the total on that is about 1200 a year. I pretty much use that as a "toy slush fund" and use it to buy geeky stuff without getting in trouble from the boss ( wife ).
Definitely biased here, since I work for Voxeo Labs, but Tropo is free for development, supports SIP, SMS, Shortcodes, TFN's ITFN's, ect. We also have great support ( 24/7 ) and fantastic documentation. Our product is also available on premise, should you want to go that route. It is also being deployed into many large carrier clouds, such as AT&T, Deutsch Telekom, ect.
Voxeo Labs is looking for full-time DevOps team members.
We're looking for someone to work remote in, or around, the Atlanta or San Jose area. We're flexible for the right person, but a local is highly desirable.
