I switched from tmux to Zellij a while back, and lately added a stop hook that sends a terminal ping to the correct tab when the agent is done (and I'm not looking at the tab). It has been pretty convenient so far.
I created `ygg`[0] a while back to easily spawn a new worktree when working with Claude/codex, and it also spawns that in a dedicated zellij tab. I think making the terminal multiplexer pluggable, so it would be easy to integrate something like this.
I tried it a bit, and while the potential is huge, I mostly just use a cli agent (claude/codex) via Blink shell (iPhone/iPad) with Wireguard for technical work or https://agency.nu for any automations using integration, voice chat etc.
I didn't necessarily select the one closest to what I currently use in the game, but more looking at the shapes of different characters to see what looked the "nicest".
Hey HN! I built ygg to make git worktrees easy to work with day-to-day with multiple Claude Code in the same repo. By running ygg new my-feature, it creates a worktree and a tab in zellij (if available) and you can get right to work. It even copies untracked files, so your .env files etc follow. When done, ygg remove will remove the current worktree and close the zellij tab.
Install via Homebrew: brew tap joch/ygg && brew install ygg
I would like to recommend Adaptive Lighting in favor of Circadian Lighting. It has the added benefit of being able to detect if someone manually adjusts the brightness or color, and then stops the automatic adjustment for that light.
Speaking of missing features, what I do miss though is the automatic title naming based on current calendar events. It was a perfect way of tracking meeting notes, but that feature has been removed.
I have been using Evernote for over 10 years now. The core note taking experience has never been close to good, but two things have made me stick by it through the years (powered through the nagging for business subscription)
1. Web clipper, which I use as a bookmark replacement, as well as for keeping copies of articles. Great for searching and knowing that I will always have a copy if a site suddenly disappears.
2. PDF ocr / search. I store a lot of receipts, contracts, invoices, manuals and other docs in Evernote, most of which are in PDF. I find the search-in-pdf feature indispensable.
I would love to move to something simpler like Bear (http://www.bear-writer.com), which has a superior writing experience. However, the two points above always make me come back to Evernote.
Edit: Also forgot to include the ability to take unstructured notes and sketches using the Apple Pencil on an iPad, while a bit cumbersome in Evernote, at least works.

This is the only reason for me sticking with Spotify instead of Apple Music. It lets me have the Spotify app running on my htpc and I can easily control it from any device running Spotify. No need for AirPlay, Bluetooth etc.
