A renovation package is planned that buyers can opt in to. The estimated cost is about €10K. Buying goods/services/trades in bulk should drive down the price for those that participate. Going with this option should be simple.
And when apartments are all refurbished to the same standard, they should be easier to let out.
Alternatively, apartment owners can DIY their apartment renovation themselves if they wish - probably only simple if you're a local or have time and experience on your side.
Also, apartment renovation can be postponed, pending funding or for other reasons.
The idea is that most apartments at Semkovo will be made available for rent - short, medium, or long-term - to guests and nomads who come to access the co-working spaces and all the other facilities.
The apartments will be managed and serviced by the co-op. The apartment owners will be paid rent and maybe dividends from the co-op.
Apartment owners can stay as much or as little as they like.
Owning an apartment there could be a good permanent base for nomads. Benefits include mail forwarding/handling and taking advantage of financial residency in Bulgaria (10% income tax).
If your lifestyle is nomadic, it will be a great place to visit and invest in - no need to live there permanently.
nice post, which demystified FormBuilder a bit for me. (yes, simple_form is awesome, but the minute you try to do something nonstandard (e.g. bootstrap3 compatibility) you have to fight with it very hard and it becomes just another leaky abstraction).
The Rotaville web interface is mixture of backbone.js models along with my own solution for view routing, view rendering/templating and also keyboard controls.
Rotaville mobile is available on the web and also iOS and Android (using phonegap/cordova). The backbone.js models are re-used from the web app. jquery-mobile is used for the view styling and transitions.

My mailjet wish list:
- fully implemented transactional email reporting (currently campaign only)
- email receipt and delivery acknowledgement on their event api (currently only reporting bounces, opens, and clicks )
- better helpdesk/support interface ( no way to read closed tickets, no defined process for escalating or closing tickets)
- more responsive support ( e.g. same day response for 'critical' tickets would be nice )
You got movie tickets! A long time ago (13 years) the production database was irrecoverable! I got backups working just a week before tolling finally started. Failure of that system would ultimately result in the tollway becoming a freeway (allowing for buffering of data at the gantries, etc. etc.)
Although I had some responsibility for the tunnel safety systems at the time, we never touched them knowing that any problems would result in the road being closed.
