Correct. She beat Carano and eventually the league (Strikeforce) went out of business and got bought by the UFC. The UFC absorbed all fighter contracts. There is no 145 womens division so she had to cut to 135 or leave. She decided to leave. Now she is the 145 champion of Invicta (an all womens league) that is basically owned by the UFC now as well.
If shes smart and wants a massive payday she will cut to 135 for the Rousey fight.
Its probably not a good practice but I assume every tech-minded 20-something male is a libertarian until told otherwise. Especially if they are working in SV.
It really shows the naivety of some of these marketplace users. This is how the "real" drug game works with people getting scammed and robbed everyday. Its not somehow different because its online.
Soylent reduces the consumption of food to a task to complete instead of an experience. The tagline on their homepage even reads "what if you never had to worry about food again?". Soylent is a solution for the type of person that doesnt value the ritual of food prep and consumption and Id be willing to bet that demographic is the young, tech-savy male. Women are much more likely to bond over food experience with friends and loved ones (ie. brunch) at any age.
Soylent is a tech product with standard early adopters of tech guys.
I lived with a guy from France a few years ago and he absolutely hated peanut butter and couldnt figure out why we all ate it so much. Had no problem adjusting to pepperoni cheese steaks though!
Ill never understand the "allure" of living in the burbs other than having space. Cookie cutter houses in cookie cutter developments separated by long stretches of mini-highways and strip malls. Everything is brand new and completely sterile.
Looks good man. Telling your story through some high quality photos and a video would really go far in validating your USP and pricing. If I were in the market for something like this that is the story I would want to support.
Its social sharing stripped down to what most people are really looking for... pictures. I have a small business making and selling handmade items and Instagram is my lifeblood. Its how I advertise my work, gain followers which do translate to other channels, and most important of all make sales.
> The idea that "I don't experience privilege and I know this because I am not to blame for anything that happened before my existence,"
This has come up so much in this thread its almost baffling. Newsflash: If you are apart of the majority demographic on this website (18-35, upper middle class educated white male) you live the privilege EVERYDAY. Of course you arent conscious of it because it exists in your favor.
Setting regulations you want your own community to abide by is fine and dandy. That sounds like what they are doing. The minute you try to expand those on everyone else is when you need to shut the fuck up. Just stay away from that line ultra-orthodox jews and you will be fine.
