I think first impression is important but not a key indicator of long term success. The first iPhone unlocked the mobile web browsing use case, which is huge. People had always wanted to browse the web, just not on mobile. That alone makes the first iPhone a revolutionary product. Magic Leap One has to create new user behavior, which is much much harder.
After many nights watching food videos with an empty stomach. :-) It'd be great if you can give me feedback on:
1) Would you use it? If not then why not?
2) Any suggestions
Thanks!
I think these people apply the same principle to many other decision making processes in their lives, not just picking clothes, which is very visible hence everyone talks about. I guess saving on clothes is small but many little things add up quickly.
My main goal in building this is to demonstrate that at this point (with HTML5 & V8) Javascript is not only good for UI but also for computationally intensive tasks like AI. Human vs human is also interesting, though.
Thanks! No, it doesn't play optimally even though this game has been solved. That's not really fun, either. What it does is to try to think like human and at the same time as deeply as possible. If you click on the number, it will show more stats. The computer lost more than 20 games up to this point.
I've been working on http://www.hupland.com for almost a year. The idea is to help you to improve your Heads Up NL skill by playing, studying your games, and monitoring your ELO rating. I had this problem myself few years back when I was a graduate student struggling with financial issues. I was trying to earn some money on online poker sites but I couldn't afford learning by losing first. I'm pretty close to the MVP-version launch (only 1 feature: play with friend).
One thing I've learnt was that it is really easy to get distracted due to all context switches and conflict responsibilities. So I try my best to touch the code every day (even 1 line CSS change is good enough).
