Actually better is the book "The Fifth Sun: A new history of the Aztecs" written in Nahuatl (the Aztec language) and translated by Camille Townsend. It is an account of how the Aztecs viewed conquest, which they didn't see as a conquest initially. Also the descriptions of the city of Tenochitlan indicate that it was just as sophisticated, and cosmopolitan as it is today: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifth_Sun:_A_New_History_of_th...
People are coming to them with sagging skin from Ozempic. Since 6% of Americans are on it now (according to that article), how is that competition for the plastic surgeons?

This is totally misinformed. When research is funded by corporations, we get ideas that are informed from the lunatic fringe that are based on nothing.
Take a look at Pantavisor and Pantacor Hub. Open source and enables device fleet updates, device state management and more. Uses its own control plane and container runtime called Pantavisor that manages and runs Linux containers, and converts Docker container too.
The past couple of years have seen a push from cloud-centric companies telling the embedded Linux ecosystem and community that we should make do with cloud technologies like Golang, NodeJS, and Docker. However, most are unaware of the challenges of cramming cloud tools onto resource-constrained embedded systems. Even though some of these frameworks have the right intention, for example, LXD containers, most lack the initiative to understand the specific requirements of embedded Linux devices.
That's because they are too busy doing pretty much everything else: dinner planning, shopping and cooking, laundry, cleaning the house, looking after and managing kids and working full-time.
