When I was in high school (2005-ish), Yahoo mails were everywhere, most of my friends used AIM, etc. I haven't used either for long now, but it's sad to see the company dying all the same.

Also, not to nitpick, but science does not "prove", it establishes plausible models for observed facts. There is no end to studies linking poor diet to poor health.

This, a thousand times over. Security and privacy concerns are ultimately among the make-or-break points of any major platform, and Linux needs to pass this with flying colors, especially as it grows ever closer to the ordinary user who is finally considering replacing Windows.
This is one of the greatest events in the history of energy research. Really, really hoping that the upcoming results of the machine will at least meet expectations.

There were 6 years between ES 5 and 6, and it will most likely be another 1-2 years before we have complete, well tested ES6 coverage across all major browsers. ES6 is fully backwards-compatible with ES5 anyway, so it's not even a Python-kind of language evolution.
