This was specifically because starting in January this year tax breaks for electric cars were changed considerably for people leasing an electric car, specifically the more expensive ones.

Which then in turn isn't really enforced and the commercial guys running multiple appartments as full time rentals find intricate ways around the rules...
I remember a guy who mounted his PSP on the handlebars of his motorbike and used it for navigation with a GPS dongle. No rerouting but turn by turn instructions to get us to follow a pre-planned route :)
I was really curious to read about this type of heating, then I read your comment. Quickly imagegoogled the term and found that this is the standard in most of north/west Europe.
Here in the Netherlands 1 liter of gasoline was very low a few months ago at about €1,55. Now back up to €1,60 if you do your best or €1,78 on the highways. Portugal is not that bad :)
I use the Sony WH-H900N (h.ear 2) and absolutely love them, since I bought them (and a second set for my wife recently) three different colleagues ordered one after trying mine for < 10 minutes :-)
