I think the key takeaway here is that people put up ads and just hope to turn clicks into money. As Gary Vee says "don't try to close on the first date" Its just basic human nature that once I like a page, I'm not going to immediately go into the place and hand them money. You have to keep telling a story to build lifetime value.
Internet marketing is not a sprint, its a marathon. Only exception is most types of affiliate marketing.
You can become a canadian citizen, live in the Bahamas and pay no personal income tax. Canadian citizens are only taxed where they live, and thus, Bahamas doesn't collect personal income taxes as most of their money is made from tourism.
Not only is it simplistic, its different. On all of the major sites, yahoo, big blogs, etc, you see these polished ads that all look very corporate and very much the same. This is so different that it makes you want to check what is behind the door.
I really like the Dorsey CEO thing, but I think they should of bid for T-Mobile. Not only could they sell the devices, but they could of been a major carrier just on their own devices. Not to mention being one of the first companies to make laptops with 3g/4g built in.
I think they should of bid for t-mobile to provide network plans for all of their devices (ipad, iphone, and the coming apple TV). The acquisition would pay for itself just in subscription fees. Instead, AT&T is buying it and will probably roll all the customers up into their own network.
Apple should of bought t-mobile or another wireless company with 4g capability. It would allow them to have "apple" plans and could allow them to profit big from data plans. At&T is getting it for $39 billion. At this point, Apple has over $100 billion in the bank that they apparently don't know what to do with. SMH

Although that may be correct, have gas or oil prices dropped here as a result? No, they went up (oil companies use "wars" and "storms" and other cracks in the road to say "lets let Opec profit another 20% this year bob"
With that + the fact that the US is in debt of $16 trillion + and that number keeps growing, I think we can't afford it.
