I've wondered this myself. We've already seen how easy it is to privatize the gains here - it's just a matter of how the losses will be socialized this time that's got me stumped.

For 90% of the population, what Yahoo! can find is definitely good enough. I mean, come on. Yet Google gets 900x more props than Yahoo! Way too much credit being given to their work. I'm so sick of people asking me to "Google" something. Isn't that so 2004?
I dislike writing more code for my tests than the "actual" code. I do not eat the "test driven development" drivel hook-line-and-sinker. Sorry, call me an unenlightened developer.
