The model is likely based on fundamental economic factors and rational decision making. The latter is why Q1 ended up with -0.3% growth. You could call this the Trump effect.
He is trying to "end the war" on terms that enrich himself, in vainglorious pursuit of a Nobel peace prize, and in a way that will almost inevitably result in a wider conflict very soon. Please don't pretend this is about "people will stop dying". That is utter nonsense.
You were promoted, moved to a flailing team and a new domain. This is a significant career opportunity and people are showing trust in you. I would focus on what is needed in the new area. Somebody else recommended you speak with the senior director who promoted you, to clarify expectations. That is good advice.
When agile first started it was developer centric and brought in the ideas of continuous improvement, inspect and adapt, eliminating waste (handoffs, extra communication etc). One of the core ideas was to look at what was working/not working - if it's not working you drop it. Then we got the scrum cult. Ironically it has led to a huge amount of wasted time and effort, as well as stressed devs. In a lot of cases these extra processes get added by well meaning people who don't look at the whole system of work. If you can't drop what is not working then it's not agile.
Maybe you don't see the irony in anti-work kid using the youtube platform to spread cynicism about Corporate America while getting paid. His stuff is somewhat interesting, for about 10 seconds before you realize it contributes nothing to your life. Also, memes and urban dictionary slang? Are you serious? Don't be like this, indeed.
When I was younger I wondered what all these other people in the business did with their time. Surely it was all about the code and all these other corporate drones just needed to respect that. Then I guess I started moving over to the dark side and got a bit more empathy for the real jobs that other people have to do - so devs don't have to spend ALL their time talking to customers, paying the bills, handling the marketing etc. Strangely many of these people, even customers, were curious about likely dates for shipping the work. Turned out their jobs depended on it too. I recently interviewed an engineer working at a startup run by engineers. There is no management, which he thought he'd like. Instead they use commitment. After 18 months of very long hours and weekends guess why he wanted to move on? Organizing the work and the people is an art, lots of people get it wrong even when they try hard to get it right - but these articles? I hope my competition is reading them.

Generation X'er here. Pretty sure I remember these same articles being a thing - with Generation X being the job hoppers - back when I was ... younger. Job hoppers had a bad rep back then too. It all depends on how long and what you accomplished. Oh you say you invented tcp at your last job where you stayed for 6 weeks? Gonna be an interesting conversation, or maybe an entertaining one.
They might be shunning you due to your non-fact based opinions and consequent risky behavior:
* I've had COVID and recovered
* also don't get a flu shot each year
* have continuously been near or around folks that have come down with Covid
