My thoughts precisely. I am a self-identifying proponent for marijuana legalization, which is why my initial reaction was to balk at the study. However, upon rereading the study, they make it abundantly clear that their study is not providing any definitive conclusions by any means.

Furthermore, they explain that much more research is required to come to any sort of conclusion on its effects on the general population.
Is it though? This information certainly doesn't surprise me, nor do I think at this point that it surprises many folks that are tuned in to international news. Even so, this type of behavior is not out of the ordinary for many technologically-advanced countries. Let me be clear -- I am _not_ condoning this type of behavior, and I certainly am not defending Russia or President Trump, but this article feels like a poor attempt at making a jab at Trump and suggesting being a criminal.
I agree with you, but it is clear here that he is using Medium as his outlet to vent, and I think that is fine. Whether or not his tantrum is valid or even rational is not so much the point, in my opinion. He recognizes that he himself is a participant in the cult-like behavior that plagues the tech scene, and recognizing there is problem in the first place is a good start.
I, for one, think your tools are brilliant and have made my life as an engineer in a highly regulated environment much easier. I don't make many comments here, but I feel taking the time to thank you and your team for your hard work is needed.
To be sure, there is always room for improvement. HashiCorp does an incredible job at providing active support for the tools they create, and the active community that they've built up over the years is proof of their dedication to their ecosystem.
I like this idea. As a father with little kids, I find myself regularly sidetracked. A bot that reminds me of pending tasks would be great. Bonus points if that bot can also let me know of relevant, local community events that are coming up.
