I've finally found a good setup for me: Obsidian syncing to cloudflare R2. The notes are not encrypted in cloudflare (which I would prefer) - that's next on my list.
Perhaps the low hanging fruits in this era of technology/software landscape have been poached. However, I can find hundreds of problems just in the realm of software architecture and infrastructure management that need to be addressed and improved.
Spend a decade in any industry and you will see the gaps more clearly.

Hi Peter, I'm a Canadian on a TN visa (going on second renewal). My partner and I recently got engaged (She is a dual Canadian/USA citizen). We are thinking of staying in the US for the foreseeable future. What's the best way to go about this so that I can get permanent residency? I recently signed up for a local improv 101. It's fun and super difficult coming from someone who is not quick on their feet. I've got a lot to learn. Any tips for someone who is introverted and not super witty?
I was debating between improv and toastmasters and picked improv since I thought it would be more fun.
We've been running into the issue where our redis instance(s) randomly dies. I haven't been able to pin point the problem (nodejs+redis). Would love to hear your thoughts on some gotchas to look out for.
