I think a decent way of doing things would be to have people do public service of some sort (military included) for a few years and they get free school in exchange.
Gives people a chance to do a bit more and going to college at 21 instead of 18 seems like a good thing to me.

The republicans have been marching towards the tea party side of things for a long time. So even if a person is reasonable themselves their is a very good chance they support unreasonable people.
Personally I think who you vote for is a damn good indicator of who you are as a person.

The argument isn't that you "have to think this way because the government said so" it's that by airing viewpoints at work you're liking going to cause problems. As much as you might care a gay coworker likely has more reason to care, and they would view it as stomping on their rights.

actually I think a better definition would be that determinism is bit-for-bit identical under controlled inputs. A reproducible build is the act of controlling those inputs to feed into a deterministic build.
I'm curious why you chose the definition you did, as proving a build is reproducible sounds impossible hard.
Of course I've always looked at it from the standpoint of "reproduce this binary from source, thus proving your source code (modulo compiler trust of course)".
If you add generics then you still keep every other aspect of go that people like.
